Why sould we burn FAU down?

Currently I’m studying architecture in La Universidad de Chile, and even though I love the carrier and the school as a whole, I have plenty of complains about it, for example, although the curriculum was recently changed, I think it still needs plenty of changes, because are plenty of filling courses that just delay our career.

About the workload, I think it´s excessive, recently I was talking to friend of mine and he said that in his workshop they learned more because teachers made destroyed them every week, but I think that´s really mess up, suffering it´s not learning, and here in this faculty need to learn that for the health of the students.

Among the infrastructure, firmly believe that it´s not enough, we don’t have enough plotters, laser cutters or even classrooms available for the amount of student that are being admitted every single year. Also the buildings are not in the best condition, in some class rooms the acoustic is so bad you cannot understand what the teacher is saying, and some others drown every time it rains (AKA titanic).

Although we have all this issues regarding the facilities, the material developed in the school is top level, because we are pushed to learn more and better techniques, employing different methods to achieve the best result that we are capable of, that’s the reason because we have a good use of the different resources.

Even though this school is falling apart (literally and figuratively), we still manage to stay on top because this school is the students, and WE ARE THE SHIT! (okno but seriously, invest some in the infrastructure, we need it, this is not sustainable).
