MY FAVORITE HOLIDAYS

On the summer of 2016 my family and I went lo Carretera Austral. We decided to go in a road trip, and goal was to get as far as possible, and we did, we got to Cochrane, which is 2,200 kilometers from Santiago. At the beginning we weren’t so sure how long we were gonna be there so we packed so much clothes and also we packed camping equipment, because we didn’t knew if there was gonna be any place where we could spend the night, luckily we didn’t use it, because my older sister hates camping and she would have been a real pain to deal with.

We end up going for three weeks, so it was a very long trip but also a very beautiful one. Getting to see the Marble Chapels was my favorite part by far, General Carrera Lake has a very beautiful turquoise color and the chapels have an amazing texture due to the erosion of the water. I would recommend this trip to anyone that wanted to see some beautiful landscapes (and that wouldn’t mind spending a long time sitting in the car).
